Kuchu Uganda
at Kennedy Center Page to Stage Festival

in the South Opera Tier Lounge
“The reach of hate is felt across continents in this alarming response to the proposed death penalty for homosexuals in Uganda.”
Ganymede Arts will further their initiative to develop and support burgeoning GLBT playwrights by presenting the world premiere reading of Kuchu Uganda, a play newly conceived and written by DC’s own Bob Bartlett. The play will be presented as Ganymede’s annual offering at the Kennedy Center Page-to-Stage Festival over the extended Labor Day weekend.
Kuchu Uganda will be presented in the South Opera Tier Lounge of the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and will be followed by a talkback with the audience and the playwright. Admission is free.
Bob is an MFA Candidate playwright in the Catholic University of America program.
